Chobe River gifts

So far I have not showcased the Cape buffalo which is majestic in it's own right. Large, powerful and impressive, they don't take lip from anyone. They are a commanding presence and their horns are pretty much their written history. Scarred, marred and telling a story of their own.

Skimmer birds

Skimmer chick-so perfectly camouflaged

One of the most amazing gifts that none of us foresaw was another herd of elephants crossing the river in front of us, as if to say- we know you're leaving.

Such happiness and pure joy in entering the water
Queuing up for the crossing

playing as they cross

Such pure joy playing in the water
