Cape of Good Hope

The Cape of Good Hope is a rocky headland on the Atlantic Coast

of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. It is the south-westernmost

point in Southern Africa. A common misconception is that the Cape

of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa. It is the southern tip of

the Cape Peninsula. Cape town is about 50 km to the north. Here at

the Cape, the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

COLD & windy today

Our travel mates

The rain started coming down during our late lunch so plans for penguins today were scrapped. We're hoping to see them tomorrow, weather permitting.

We had lunch in Simontown-Calamari & Kingklip for me
